1 Year Blog Anniversary + A giveaway!

Hey friends! So yesterday was a super special day for me! Not only was it my birthday, but it was also my 1 year blogging anniversary!

Whew! I can't believe it's been a whole year since I wrote my very first {very wordy} official blog post, that I'm sure only my family and friends read LOL.

I was so scared to announce on social media that I started a blog. As I stood staring at my phone in angst, as my husband tried to talk me out of a full-fledged panic attack. With all that happening, my son just walked on over and clicked the share button and said "there you go mom" {this was my face you guys ?}.

Well it's been one wild ride ever since! This year was full of great moments like getting to collaborate with some amazingly talented bloggers, and even got to do a couple sponsored posts. The last year also had its bittersweet moments as well, yet it still was a gratifying experience that I wouldn't change for anything!

First I need to say a big THANK YOU to all my readers {even if you just look at the pictures LOL}, and followers! Honestly without your sweet comments and encouraging words on the blog, social media, and even through email this blogging thing wouldn't be as rewarding and meaningful.

I'm so appreciative for every comment, every re-pin, follow, Facebook like, and they lists goes on!  A lot of work goes into blogging {a lot more than I ever imagine} and you guys make it all worth it ?!!!

I've been lucky to have met some sweet and supportive blogging friends along the way. The last year has been a HUGE learning experience for me, and it's because of all these talented ladies willingness to share their knowledge, offer encouragement, and to be inclusive that's helped my blog come such a long way in such a short time

I'm so grateful for all the friends and connections I've made through this blog. The last year was such a big learning experience for me and I hope to continue to learn and grow as part of this awesome blogging community! I have a lot of goals and aspirations for this little blog of mine, and I'm excited to work hard to achieve them in the upcoming year.
