    3 Simple Spring Decor Ideas

Hey friends! And... just like that spring is officially right around the corner!

The perfect time to freshen up the house with these simple spring decor ideas.

I'm not sure if it's the fact that at the moment my house may or may not still have a bunch of moving boxes still left to unpack. I just don't have the inclination to go all out decorating for spring this year.

But! Spring is still one of my favorite seasons to decorate around so I'm using these 3 simple tips to add a little spring touches to my house in a low key no fuss kind of way.

    3 Simple Spring Decor Ideas

1 | Go Light and Airy

Now is the perfect time to swap out those Christmas I mean "winter" pillows {oh just me? ok then LOL} to something a bit lighter in color or maybe a pretty floral print. You can further lighten things up by swapping out heavy curtains and throws.

All things I did in the photo below to make my living room feel light and airy.

2 | Use faux, fresh, and free flowers and greenery around your home

Another easy way {always my favorite way} to welcome spring into your home is using flowers and greenery.

The large faux branches with the white flowers {they came from Walmart years ago}, fresh tulips from the grocery, and free spring branches clipped from outside leave no doubt what season we're in.

Obviously, you don't need to use all of them in one spot. I just happen to have this photo from last year that had all 3 in it :).

In this photo, I simply placed potted tulips from the grocery store in a blue and white vase for an instant and inexpensive touch of spring.

    3 | Utilize Small-scale artwork & Free Printables

Another great way to represent the season is accessorizing with small-scale artwork and/or free printables.

I did not change much of anything on my dresser last year but just propping that small but colorful and fun print by Oh Joy for Target {no longer available} adds a fun pop of color and whimsy.

And of course, you can get the same look with free printables by finding one you like and just popping it into a frame. I have some free printables HERE if you interested.

Alright friends so what do you think, are these 3 Simple spring decor ideas doable for you?

I know over the coming weeks I will be using these tips myself, as I need the extra push to get the last of these boxes unpacked and get this house together while also adding little touches of spring.
