Like I shared in my initial post about my living room update plans, I wanted a tall plant for a corner.
And not just any plant. I wanted another fiddle fig.
However, real fiddle figs plants are not cheap and this house doesn't get great light {not to mention my lack of a green thumb}.
Therefore the idea of spending money yet again on a plant that I know will probably die in a few months is not one that I like.
So while I do have some some faux fiddle fig branches that I LOVE! For the the first time I decided to purchase a faux fiddle fig plant.
After looking for a while I got this one. And I have to say I'm pretty impressed!
I can't believe how good the quality is for the price. It even comes in a pretty basket with moss which adds to the realism.
Before purchasing this faux fiddle fig plant I did check out a few others that also looked really good and won't break the bank.

Living Room Update 2
Of course, me getting this new faux fiddle fig is all part of plans to take the formal out of my formal living room.
Replacing the small brown table in the corner with this new faux fiddle fig is exactly the look I wanted.
It balances out the floor lamp on the other side of the sofa perfectly! I did put it on a inexpensive plant stand for a little extra height.
I'm loving this new toned down look compared to what the living room looked just a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, this space will be getting a dose of color once the painting is hung and I style the room. And then I can show you guys what a difference changing out just a few pieces can make in a space!
I would love to know how do you feel about faux plants. See you next time friends!

Hi.
I would love to know where you got your curtains. I LOVE them. I've recently incorporated chinoiserie in my white living room, and I need new curtains that match. Thanks in advance!

I am not a fan of artificial plants although you featured some beautiful ones here today. What I am a fan of would be your drapes and rugs. I am new to your blog and wonder if you have posted where you found your fabric for your drapes and your rugs. So pretty.
