    Magnolia Market Blanket Ladder

Hey friends! How was your weekend? Mine started off on a great note when I got some happy mail on Friday from Magnolia Market {Don't you just love Fixer Upper?!}.  After a week of waiting my blanket ladder had been delivered! Perfect for our throws now that cooler weather is upon us.

So I have a thing for throws. I must own at least a dozen of them {which admittedly is a lot}. Throws come in so many different pretty colors and cozy textures that I have a hard time passing them up!

Lately, though I feel like we always have blankets scattered around the living room. Not artfully draped either, I mean balled up under pillows, on the floor, and sloppily hanging off the couch. Sigh.

That's why I'm so excited about this new blanket ladder! Not only does it gives us a place to easily put away our throws. It's also a great solution for the blank wall I was left with when I moved my gold bar cart turned plant stand upstairs.

Although I really like the look of the reclaimed wood blanket ladders I'd been pinning for inspiration, I felt they would be a bit too rustic for my space.

When I came across this slim metal blanket ladder I knew it was just what I was looking for! The slightly distressed black frame is not too modern or rustic.

This ladder is lightweight so it can easily be moved around as needed. I can also see using it with some fun seasonal decor like wreaths, fairy lights, etc...

The one con I've found is that the metal can leave scuff marks on your walls. I plan on adding a small piece of felt to the backside, easy peasy.

The best part is that this piece is both decorative and functional! It gives me extra vertical storage and I can display some of the prettier throws we have, which also adds a little bit of coziness to our living room.

What do you think of blanket ladders? Do you have one?

Thanks for stopping by, see to next time!

I love your metal blanket ladder Linda! Looks great! I'm a huge fan of throws and blanket ladders. I even built one last year and I love it.

SO pretty Linda ! Don't think I have seen a metal one before. This is so modern and minimal, and functional. I have always wondered - are throw ladders usually secured to the wall?

Vin, I've only seen metal blanket ladder on the actually fixer upper show, which is why I ordered it. I don't think they are meant to be secured to the wall, although I could that being a concern if you had very small children. Thanks for stopping by Vin!

Thanks Erin! Get one! The price was relatively reasonable $68 plus an extra 10% for being a new customer! Just keep in mind baby jules might want to grab on it since it's not secured to the wall.
