Hey everyone! Welcome to my holiday home tour part two! In part one of my holiday home tour I shared with you my entryway and dining room all decked out for the season.
In this last part of the tour, I'm sharing with you our main living area and some photos of our breakfast nook as well!
Let's get this tour started, shall we?
This is our first Christmas in this house and I knew that our old small tree would surely look like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree in our two story living room.
After some online research, we went with a nine foot Martha Stewart tree sold at Home Depot. This gorgeous tree was such a joy to decorate! It looked great straight out of the box.
Can you spot, our little elf Max in the tree! 🙂
I've found some great affordable blue and white pieces from Ross Dress for Less! HomeGoods is also a good place to check for them if you are looking to add to your collection or start one on the cheap.
My favorite "ornaments" by far are the mini starburst mirrors {eight in all}. I was inspired to add them to my tree after I saw something similar in the Ballard Design Christmas catalog.
Rather than change my everyday decor to incorporate more traditional Christmas colors, I went with a neutral palette of white, cream, gold, and silver. I also added some blue touches for a pop of color that's also a continuation of the blue {my favorite color} I currently have in my home.
I fell in love with these huge vintage brass deer when I first saw them on Emily Henderson's Christmas special a couple of years ago. To say I was over the moon when I found them a few months back {in my price range} would be an understatement.
This is my first time in ten years not using our traditional monogram Christmas stockings. These white ones really complement my current decor, and I love the pompom details on them.
Both the glitter letters and stockings came from Walmart {yes Walmart!}.
Don't leave an empty bowl near me, I'm liable to put some ornaments in it. Ha!
From the living room you can see straight into the breakfast nook {and kitchen}. I didn't do much to this area. I added a cute throw pillow, switched out my regular art for a chalkboard "O Holy Night" canvas {you can see a close up on my Instagram}, and added some faux greenery in my favorite pitcher.
My coffee station turned hot chocolate bar is right across from our breakfast table and have been in constant use since I set it up last week!
Displaying seasonal items like these vintage cookie cutters and holiday dishes is an easy way to add holiday touches to your kitchen or dining area.
These demijohn bottles filled with fresh evergreens on the island is pretty much the full extent of my decorations in the kitchen!
I'm so happy with how my holiday decor turned out this year, festive but still a continuation of my everyday style! I hope you liked it as well!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit with me!
From my family to yours , wishing you a joyous holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year!
Follow along {lurkers welcome}
