Hey friends! Today I'm joining a talented group of blogging friends to share with you Christmas decor around our homes!
I've linked to all the other bloggers on the tour at the end of the post. Be sure to go and check them out, honestly you'll thank me later 😊.
So this year I wanted the kids room filled with as much holiday cheer as the rest of the house!
Let's start in Kayla's room.
Kayla's room got a very girly update over the summer. To keep the look of her room cohesive, I went with Christmas decor that had the same look and feel.
I used my Crate and Barrel wood village to create a small Christmas village on the bookshelf.
After Christmas last year I serendipitously bought this little white Christmas tree for less than $10 at Walmart.
It is just so pretty and feminine with the addition of the pink gold ornaments.
Just about all the ornaments we already had. The ones we did buy were fairly inexpensive.
The little ballerina mouse ornament is the only exception. Kayla picked it out as her special ornament when we went to see the Nutcracker recently.
This cute little deer pillow was from Michael's at 70% off! I got the sled at a very similar sale also at Michael's a few years ago.
Kayla and I made this cute DIY cupcake wrapper Christmas tree garland together 2 years ago! This kid friendly DIY garland from One Perfect Day is oh so cute. Head over there for full instructions
Let's move on to Jaden's room...
This room also got a bigger boy makeover earlier in the year as a 9th birthday present for Jaden.
I picked up this small pre-lit Christmas tree for $5 at a garage sale last year.
It's also filled with ornaments we've collected over the years.
The kids get to pick one new ornament each year. Jaden's choice was this cute nutcracker we also got at the Nutcracker ballet.
Just as with Kayla's room, I tried to keep a light hand with the Christmas decorations.
One of my favorite additions to Jaden's room is this vintage letterpress. It makes the perfect Lego mini figure display.
For a festive touch I added these tiny little bottle brush Christmas trees I got from Target's One Spot.
The trio of deer heads is a permanent fixture, but I did add a scarf to one of them to change it up a bit.
Oh Magnolia 🐱...
Both Kayla and Jaden immediately plug in their tree when they get up in the morning. My heart is so happy I was able to add a little Christmas magic to their room also for the holiday season!
From my family to yours, wishing you very merry Christmas and happy New Year!

Absolutely love their rooms! So sweet and cute! I love the little lit house in your daughter's room. Did you make that or did you buy it somewhere??

Liinda you have such a beautiful family and the kids are lucky to have such a mom that takes care to make sure that their rooms are all decked out in the Christmas spirit. Both rooms are adorable. And each one is full of so many special details that the kids will never want to leave. I'm a bit partial to that Christmas tree in kayla's room with the ballarinas.
