Hey friends! Nothing says spring to me more than beautiful blooms.
This super easy DIY spring flower arrangement I'm sharing with you today is no exception!

If you're feeling like me, you're so ready for gloomy old man winter to pack up his bags and go.
This easy spring flower arrangement is sure to brighten your home in anticipation of spring's arrival.
~Easy DIY Spring Flower Arrangement~
Flowers:
The great thing about this flower arrangement is that you can use any kind of flowers you like.
I almost always buy flowers from my local grocery store. If I'm looking for something special, I check out organic supermarkets like Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Trader Joe's, etc...
Here are the flowers I used for this DIY spring flower arrangement.
Container:
To keep this centerpiece from looking too frilly and to add texture I used a small decorative wooden box.
You can find these types of small wooden boxes and crates at most stores that sell home decor. The one I have is from HomeGoods.
You can also check stores like TJ Maxx, Marshals, Michael's, and Hobby Lobby.
You will also need some mason jars.
Fill your mason jars with water and some of the "powder" that comes with the flowers and put them in the crate.
I was able to fit three Ball mason jars in my crate.
Trim your stems:
Trim the stems of your base flower {mine are the hydrangeas} so the blooms are sitting right on top of the mason jar lip. They shouldn't be too tall.
Next, trim your accent flowers {which for me are the spray stock flowers and the snapdragons} slightly longer so they stick out of your base flower.
*Tip - While you can use any flowers you like. I find getting flowers with large blooms to use as a base for the flower arrangement will make it look fuller.
Think of flowers like peonies, jumbo mums, sunflowers, alstroemerias {you usually get a lot per bouquet}, dahlias, and hydrangeas. I use 4 hydrangeas in this centerpiece.
Arrange the flowers|
Now comes my very favorite part. Arranging {and rearranging} the trimmed flowers in the mason jars until I get a look I'm happy with.
Because the hydrangeas are big and fluffy I added those first. Then I tucked in my delicate spray stock flowers and snapdragons. Lastly, I added in three of the bells of Ireland.
I'm in love with how it turned out, and how simple it was to put this arrangement together. Not to mention it only took around 15-20 minutes.
So give it a try friends! It's a great way to enjoy some pretty flowers inside while we wait for mother nature to bring us some flowers outside.
Come back next week to see how my DIY spring flower arrangement look as part of my Easter tablescape!
Thanks for stopping by, see you next time!
