Hey friends! It's officially fall tomorrow and that means it's time to break out the pumpkins!
I'm sharing my easy neutral fall decor in the entry and dining room turned office.

Fall is my favorite season! Cool-weather, sweaters, cozy blankets, and of course pumpkins. I love it all!
Easy Neutral Fall Decor
As much as I like the warm traditional colors of fall. It doesn't really jive with my current decor.
My rule of thumb is seasonal decor should complement your existing decor. This will also help keep your seasonal decor budget-friendly. Since you don't need to buy a bunch of new things.
I spent less than $10 on the white pumpkins and greenery. Everything else I already had.
I fill my dough bowl with white pumpkin, fresh eucalyptus leaves, and a pair of small brass deer I thrifted a couple of years ago. Creating a simple and neutral fall decor vignette.
I got the inspiration from a centerpiece I created when I first got my dough bowl 2 years ago. You can see it HERE on my Instagram.
Here is a better view.
As someone who's killed a few fiddle fig leaf plants. I'm so glad these {realistic looking} faux fiddle leaf fig stems are guaranteed to look good forever LOL!
I also added small touches of neutral fall decor in my office. There is a bit more color here, but the overall effect is still light and bright.
When I first revealed what I like to call my "dining room office" it was full-out feminine flair with all the pink accents. But, I wanted to "quite" down the room a bit.
I switched out the pink floral curtains for my favorite cheap white curtains.
Leading me to swap out the pink pillows, for these graphic white and gold pillows that were in Kayla's bedroom. They were the first pillows I ever made using a shower curtain I got from Target for fabric.
They tie in nicely with the other gold accents in the room.
I did add a little pink back in this little vignette!
The gray velvet pumpkin, pink chrysanthemum a.k.a mums, and pumpkin succulent printable {I shared last week} are all things associated with fall. But, they fit into my decor seamlessly.
The silver dollar eucalyptus and a mix of real and velvet pumpkins add small touches of neutral fall decor on the sideboard also.
I kept most of the items I had on the sideboard. However, I used a tray this time around to corral everything creating another fall vignette.
A tray is a great base when creating vignettes, not just for fall but for any season.
A group of items on a tray will always look more purposeful and pulled together, over having smaller items scattered about.
This is a great trick especially if you have a ton of little knick-knacks {like me}.
I've been seeing fresh silver dollar eucalyptus all over Pinterest and I really love how they look. I wasn't able to find any my go-to spots {grocery stores LOL}. Which led me to Ruth's Florist and Gifts. An awesome local florist I did not know about. The owner Ruth was so sweet and practically gave me the eucalyptus branches for free.
I spend a lot of time in this space {a far cry from when it was a dining room}. When the weather turns cool, I'm not above grabbing a cozy blanket, and a warm drink while working.
Thanks for stopping by today!
I would love to know, do you like to decorate with traditional fall colors or do you prefer more neutral fall decor?

Thank you so much, Lisa! I think part of my love for fall is layering up the pillows and throws LOL.
