    As the saying goes April showers bring May flowers!

    🌷So friend I decided that every Friday this month I will be sharing a set of gorgeous free botanical printables with you.

    Ultimately creating a botanical printable collection of 150+ prints!

    I'm kicking things off today with the first set that consists of these 50 gorgeous floral botanical prints just for you! {Previews at the bottom of this post.}

    Back in 2016, I showed you how to use the pages from an inexpensive botanical book to create affordable yet pretty wall art.

    Now you can get a similar look with these printables using just a piece of paper and your own home printer.

    While botanical art is timeless and has been around for centuries.

    Over the last few years, its had a major resurgence. Thanks in part to the folks like Joanna Gaines using botanical art in her farmhouse style home makeovers.

    But back in the '80s and '90s, you were more likely to see a vintage botanical painting in a "shabby chic" space.

    So to me, the true beauty {literally and figuratively} in botanical art is its timeless look that works with a variety of home decor styles.

    Free Botanical Prints Online

    The good news is you can find a ton of free printable art online that's in the public domain. Including vintage botanical prints.

    One of my favorite places for free downloads is the New York Public Library digital collections. It's among the easiest sites to navigate when looking for free art online.

    The one downside I've come across with downloading free printable art is the quality of the images is not always consistent.

    They can sometimes require a fair bit of editing on the back end to make them look good enough for printing.

    Now I know spending hours in Photoshop is not everyone's idea of fun. But! As I shared in this post, it's definitely mine 🤓.

    The process of tracking down these prints. And working on them in Photoshop is actually enjoyable to me.

    And lucky for you, I love to share. So this means lots of free printables for you!

    I’ve long touted how free printables are the perfect way for giving your home a quick and budget-friendly update.

    I love that you can display this printable set in so many different ways.

    • Lined up in a hallway using some poster frame hangers.

    • A statement gallery wall using like Dimples and Tangles did in her breakfast nook

    • Flanking a window like in my current dining room

    • A simple 4 frame grid like the one in my old dining room {seen above}

    That's if you want to hang them up at all. You can also display them using a simple tabletop frame. Or maybe you have some cute spring DIYs in mind.

    Botanical Prints Notes

    ~These are for personal use only.

    ~These printables are high resolution and can be sized down or sized up to suit your needs. I've printed these up to a 12x18 with great results!

    ~To keep as much authenticity and interest as possible to the original illustrations by Pierre-Joseph Redouté. In my edit opted to keep some of the "imperfections" of the scanned pages like the watermarks and natural discoloration.

    While these are not technically spring printables. All these lovely florals do remind me of the beautiful spring blooms I've been seeing lately ☺.

    Click the photo below to pin it for later! And let me know in the comments what you think about them.
