    Holiday Decor in the Kitchen

    holiday-decor-in-the-kitchen-2

Hey friends! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday! We had a great day just hanging at home and of course enjoying some yummy food.

Today I'm sharing a look at my holiday decor in the kitchen. I'm joined by 7 other talented ladies who are also sharing their beautiful homes all decked out for the holidays! Stop by all the homes on the tour for some amazing holiday decor inspiration using the links at the end of this post.

I originally planned on only sharing my hot beverage station in this post, like I did last year with my hot chocolate bar post. But, I thought it would be fun to share the other small holiday decor touches I have in our breakfast nook also.

As much as I love decorating for Christmas, I usually try to use a light hand when adding holiday decor to our home {although sometimes I fail miserably LOL}.

Last week I shared my updated coffee station, with this thrifted faux bamboo sideboard makeover.

Since the kids loved the simple hot chocolate bar I set up last year so much, I decided to do it again.

With the addition of hot chocolate K-Cups and some fixin's, my coffee station is now a hot beverage station that the whole family can enjoy during the holidays!

A few treats helps make  an ordinary cup of hot chocolate extra special.

The mug rack is from World Market. To make it a little festive gave it a coat of green spray paint. I also added these cute reindeer clips I got from Target's One Spot last year.

It's been several years since I used red in my holiday decor. This year I decided to go for it and added some traditional Christmas red and I love the look!

This vintage cooler is a recent find, and works great as planter.

My absolutely favorite seat in our breakfast nook is the loveseat. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a warm drink while wrapping presents.

Thank you Heather! You totally should! The kids love the hot cocoa bar and use it often. I actually had to put some restrictions or they would have hot chocolate and treats several times a day ?
