Hey friends! So no Friday Five + 1 today, we will start again in January. But, I do have some major news to share. Honestly, if you told me a month ago I would be writing this posts, I probably wouldn't believe you.
I already let the cat out of the bag to my friends on my email lists, but I wanted to share this exciting news with you too.
We're moving! Not only are we moving, but it has to be by the end of this month.
Yes, you read that right, by the end of this month, as in 2 weeks from now. You throw in Christmas and you could make an argument for this being insane {I probably would agree with that LOL}.
Let's start from the beginning.
The last time I shared a personal post with you, it wasn't great news. My husband lost his job. Which was pretty scary considering we are a one-income family.
The months following said job loss was a roller coaster. There were times where it seemed like things were going to get back to "normal", only for it not to.
Fast forward to the end of November, hubby got a job offer {we sorta didn't see coming} in Atlanta starting in January.
It's amazing how our whole world flipped in a blink of an eye.
Although we are super excited about this new opportunity. It wasn't lost on us that we had exactly 4 weeks to find a place to live in a completely different state while packing up our whole house all during the busy holiday season.
If you're wondering why we don't just wait until after the new year to move. Well, our number one priority is to make this transition as smooth as possible for our kids. We're thinking it's best if they start their new school after the Christmas break. That way they can have a fresh start along with all the other students coming back from Christmas break.
Plus, once D starts his new job it would become a lot harder for us to coordinate looking for a new house, packing, physically moving, and the laundry list of things that crops up when moving.
In my about page I shared due to my husband’s career in sales, we’ve lived in 7 states and have owned and sold 3 homes in the 12 years we've been married.
Knowing what to expect definitely makes this move less overwhelming for us than it sounds on paper. But, believe me, the inherent stress of moving is still there.
Although, we enjoyed living in Tennessee and have made some good friends here. We are looking forward to all the new and exciting things a bigger city like Atlanta has to offer.
Ok, you already know I can't wait to create a new home out of this new house for my family. And of course, sharing that journey with you! As soon as we get everything finalized, I'll share some photos of our new place.
All in all, we are so ready to take on this new adventure.
Thank's for reading and I wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday and healthy new year!

Indeed, life flies very fast. I'm grateful to people like you who share their stories, and it makes me want to tell some too. It seems like recently I was at school and everything was clear and understandable, and now I am already a 3rd year student and it's all thanks to https://edureviewer.com/affordable-lsat-prep-courses/. It's so amazing that just one decision changed my life so drastically, if I hadn't been advised to take these courses, I would have hardly entered law school and probably not received any education at all. It's so sad and happy at the same time.

Happy Holidays to you too Linda. Wow that was big news. I moved a few months ago but left half of my stuff back in my old house. It certainly will be very busy for you but seeing as how you are so experienced with this, I'm sure you will handle it with grace. Your idea about the kids is very smart too. Wishing you lots of luck and hoping everything goes smooth in your move.
