Despite my good intentions, I've given up on sharing a full Christmas home tour this year y'all.
I was able to muster all the decorating energy I had to add some festive touches to our family room.

My mom's guilt would not allow me to end this insane year without at least putting up a tree for the kids to come down to on Christmas morning.
And some twinkling lights to gaze upon while we spend evenings reminiscing on past Christmas shenanigans when we could freely leave the house.
To embrace the season while still keeping the warm and neutral vibe in our family room. I used mostly natural elements along with neutral-colored pieces I already owned.
Decorating moments like fresh greenery on the mantel, the live garland over our family photos. And the wooden bowl with fresh greenery gives me just the right amount of Christmas with no fuss.
I kept the tree simple as well. Since we got a new kitten running around I decided to forgo using our flocked tree this year. So she wouldn't potentially get sick by eating the flocking.
Instead, I opted to put up our pre-lit Christmas tree from Tree Classics. Because this tree is so full and realistic. It looks great with just some well placed monochromatic ornaments and a simple star.
You might have spotted one pop of color in here. Besides the green ornaments on the Christmas tree.
And it's this adorable Christmas theme cat scratcher. If you're on my newsletter you've already met our new kitten Daisy.
She's so cute but a paint when it comes to our small tree that's by the fireplace. The hope is the scratcher will distract her at least until Christmas LOL.
Well, that's all I got for you today friends! Wishing you have a wonderful Christmas if you partake. If not I still wish everyone a safe and peaceful end to this year and a happy and healthy new year!

A great idea and combination for the Christmas room. I like the simple design with white color throughout, in addition to the green of the pine tree as the highlight. This decoration is great happy wheels.
