Hey ya'll! Glad you stopped by today!
Back in November, I shared a photo on Instagram of these delicious chocolate-dipped strawberry wafer cookies Kayla and I made together for her birthday party.
I knew for sure we would be making these perfectly pink tasty treats for Valentine's Day as well!
In the process of making them, I realize once you start dipping things into melted chocolate you can't stop LOL, because I also made some chocolate-dipped Oreos {which are ridiculously tasty!}.
Now as much as I love sweets, baking is not my thing. So these easy no-bake treats where right up my alley ?!
They are also very kid-friendly. So grab the kids and whip up a batch together! How sweet would it be to share these with friends and neighbors?!
Both of these tasty no-bake Valentine treats use the same simple steps outlined below.
*Tip: Use individual bowls of melted chocolate for the Oreos and wafer cookies even if you are using the same color chocolate for both. The wafers tend to leave some residue in the chocolate.
Ingredients
- Golden Oreos {I use the thin version, and they were perfect for this!}.
- Strawberry wafer cookies
- Melting chocolate {I used pink and white, but you can use any color you like}
- Sprinkles
- wax paper
Directions
- Melt chocolate in the microwave according to package directions.
- Dip Oreos/wafer cookies halfway into the melted chocolate.
- Lightly tap the Oreos on the rim of your bowl to get rid of excess chocolate.
- Place cookies on wax paper and scatter sprinkles over the melted chocolate.
- Let the cookies harden completely before serving.
I hope you enjoy these easy to make no-bake Valentine treats!
Be sure to come back soon to see how I use these treats as part of a sweet Valentine surprise for my kiddos!
Do you make seasonal treats? If so leave it below, I would love to hear about!
Thanks for stopping by friends, see you next time!
