Hey friends! We left off my Thanksgiving tablescape with the photo below, giving you a peak of my Thanksgiving sideboard.

A dining room or kitchen sideboard is a great spot for showcasing seasonal decor while creating a lovely backdrop for your yummy food that may not fit on your Thanksgiving table.
A dessert or drink station, are also great ways to use a sideboard for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Sideboard
When pulling this Thanksgiving sideboard together {much like my Thanksgiving table} I started by creating a super easy centerpiece.
It only took 5 minutes to put together, by placing a pumpkin on a bed of silver dollar eucalyptus leaves {I'm obsessed with them this fall} on a cake stand.
To tie in the warm tones of my Thanksgiving table. I tucked in cinnamon sticks around the pumpkin and placed a wood cheeseboard in back of it.
Depending on how much room you need for food or drinks will dictate how much decorative elements you can add to your Thanksgiving sideboard.
I'm a sucker for symmetry. So I added another decor element on either side of my pumpkin and eucalyptus centerpiece.
On one side I have a framed printable that reads "give thanks with a grateful heart". A perfect sentiment that reflects the true spirit of Thanksgiving.
If you like the printable you can download it for free, as part of a free Thanksgiving printable set I shared last week that includes leftover labels, place cards, and more.
Also keep in mind the food you have out will also bring in color and texture to your sideboard. So keep the overall decor simple.
Pretty soup tureens are some of my favorite serving pieces because they are so pretty yet functional.
Don't let the name fool you. They can be used to serve things other than soup. Punchbowl, ice bucket, bread basket, you name it.
Like this small one would be great for serving stuffing, vegetables, etc...
Now on the other side of my pumpkin and eucalyptus centerpiece is an organic eucalyptus arrangement in my favorite white stone pitcher.
There is also another soup tureen on this side {I justs love them!}. All of the ones I own were thrifted. And the most expensive one might have been $8.
If they are missing the ladle, no a big deal. Just use a large serving spoon or fork, like I did here.
Other thrifted pieces like this gold & white flatware caddy and salt & pepper shakers are functional. Yet they add a pretty touch and a hint of bling.

All in all a dining room or kitchen sideboard {like my coffee bar area} can be both pretty and functional, so don't overlook them when decorating seasonally and for holidays!

OMW Linda, you have such a beautiful home. I could get lost in your pictures for ages. I don't normally do this, but can I invite myself over? You don't have to feed me, I'll just wonder around aimlessly admiring all the Loveliness 😉
