If you've been around here for any length of time. You probably can see the change from the photo below.

Spring entryway refresh
The change was a simple one of swapping out the previous navy blue entry table for my favorite World Market Everett table that was in the dining room.
I love love the new look!
It's amazing to me what a big impact one small change can make in a space.
Here is what my entryway looked like last spring.
Let me say I loved the navy blue table in this space and had no active plans on changing it.
However, an upcoming project in our dining room resulted in me needing to move the Everett table out of there.
I will be sharing all the details for that project on Thursday. So be sure to check back to see what I have planned.
Ok, so once I realize I had to move the Everett table out of the dining room.
The only other place it could go was the entryway.
Given that fact, I basically had to choose between the two tables for the entryway.
Of course, it wasn't even a question of which table I would keep.
I had the navy table for years. It used to be a cherry brown color and I spray-painted it blue about two years ago.
I think I got great use out of it and I was able to send it to a new loving home 😀.
Although this change wasn't something I planned on.
I'm glad it happened Because I love This is a new lighter and brighter look so much!
Lighter and brighter seems to be the running theme around here lately 😄.
The best part of having the Everett table in the entryway now is all the extra space I get for styling.
Although I always use the same principles when styling my entryway.
- A focal point {Mirror}
- A natural element {flowers and greenery both faux and real}
- A lamp
- Texture {Baskets}
- Decorative pieces to add interest {Small painting, foo dog statue, blue & white collection}
- Books to add color and to literally and figuratively elevate decorative pieces when needed {Blue & white and white ginger jar with flowers}
Because this table is so much longer I wasn't able to keep the chair.
That's where the super versatile garden stool comes in. It can be used as seating or an extra surface when needed.
