Breakfast Nook Update with Round Farmhouse Table

I think it's pretty obvious farmhouse is not necessarily my style.

But, I looove me a good ol' farmhouse table!

Which is why I updated my breakfast nook with the round Blanca table from World Market.

Round Farmhouse Table

Since the fall I've been slowly working on updating my breakfast nook.

I started with the coffee bar. Adding open shelves and a faux vintage bamboo sideboard that I gave a little makeover.

Ok, so let's talk about the latest breakfast nook update. A new round farmhouse style table!

Our previous table was a $50 craigslist find, That wasn't in the best condition. A temporary fix when we sold our other table.

I know I know, it's like I'm the Goldilocks of tables 😆.

Although I wasn't actively looking for a table.

Just like with most pieces I buy. I assumed I would know when I found the "one". Well, I assumed right!

I went to World Market when sourcing tables for my One Room Challenge makeover.

And that's when I spotted the Blanca table. Insert all the heart eye emojis 😍.

I love the whitewash color and rustic {yet refined} look, similar to my entryway table.

Plus the price was right  {got it for a crazy good deal on sale}.

World Market is still running the sale if you're interested.

I was able to put it together myself with a little bit a lot of effort.

In hindsight I probably should've waited for hubby to help but... I was too impatient and wanted to see it in the space right away!

{I'm I the only one like that LOL?!}

The minute I was done putting it together, I knew I made the right decision!

Next on my list, seating.

I have to admit our current metals chairs {also from World Market} are super family friendly. 

But, I'm thinking I want something a little less industrial looking. And, I would love replace the $40 thrifted loveseat.

Now that I'm turning my formal dining room into my office space.

I'm happy that we're making progress with this makeover.
