Hey Friends! Today's post is full of inspiration for casual summer outdoor dining to help you create cool summer moments with your family and friends!
Plus I'm sharing our families "famous" 3 ingredients orange BBQ chicken wings recipe. They are delicious and super easy to make.
Not to mention they pair perfectly with an ice cold Coca-Cola™ {yum!}.
Casual Summer Outdoor Dining
Once summer is in full swing al fresco dining is a fun way to make even the most casual meal a fun occasion.
When you're entertaining outdoors in the summer setting up a drink station is a must!
I was so excited to break out my sewing table turned drink station to keep the drinks nice and cold. There's nothing like sharing an ice cold Coke on a warm summer day!
Also these personalized Share A Coke bottles are great when entertaining! And this year Coca-Cola is back with 1,000 new Share A Coke names featuring first and last names. Kayla was sooo excited to find both her first and last name LOL.
Also no more accidentally sipping on a bottle only to realize it's not yours {don't pretend that hasn't happened to you before 😀}.
When it comes to summer outdoor dining, my motto is to keep it simple and fun. Forget the fancy place setting, I usually opt for a casual family style setting.
Having dishes, utensils, and plenty of napkins within reach will make it easy for everyone to self-serve. Leaving you free to enjoy yourself.
Now, just because where keeping things simple, doesn't mean it can't be cute. $4 dollar grocery store flowers in a coordinating color makes for an easy and affordable centerpiece.
The cute tablecloth, red & white tray, and candle holders are all from Target's One Spot {you guys already know that's my kryptonite LOL}.
Not only was I able to find those cute little outdoor decor items, but I was able to pick up everything I needed for this casual outdoor dining menu {yay for one stop shopping!}.

Like I said I got everything I needed from Target for my 3 ingredient orange bbq chicken wings. I love this recipe because well most of the cooking is done in the oven, but you finish it off on the grill for a sweet and tangy caramelized glaze and of course that smoky bbq flavor!
- 3 lbs. {2 packages} Chicken Wingettes
- ½ Cup Orange Marmalade
- ½ Cup Barbecue Sauce
- Preheat Oven to 400 degrees.
- Line a large cookie sheet with foil paper, and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Mix the orange marmalade and barbecue sauce and set aside.
- Arrange the chicken wings in the cookie sheet and season to taste. I like to use Goya Adobo all purpose seasoning, but if you don't have that you can use salt, pepper, and garlic powder, paprika.
- Bake the chicken wings for 20 minutes. drain juices.
- Turn the chicken wings over and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Preheat your grill {making sure to use a grilling nonstick cooking spray}.
- Place the chicken wings on the grill and baste the side facing up and grill for 5 minutes.
- Turn wings over, baste and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
Nothing beats making great memories with friends and family over good food, conversation, and laughter! Wishing you a wonderful summer filled with cool moments!
Thank you for visiting! See you next time!
