Hey wonderful friends! Last year I did not get to share a Thanksgiving table with you. Because during that time I was in the middle of completely making over my bedroom for the One Room Challenge {ORC}.
So I'm extra excited today I get to share my natural Thanksgiving table with you!

Warm and Natural Thanksgiving Table
My goal when pulling this natural Thanksgiving table together was to spend little to no money. The only things I purchased were 3 pumpkins {2 on the table and 1 on the sideboard}, a bundle of eucalyptus, and the linen napkins { 70% off at HomeGoods}.
Everything else I already had on hand. This is where tip #6 from my decorating on a budget post comes in handy. A lot of my decor and tableware {plates, napkins, chargers, etc...} are on the neutral side. Making them versatile and easy to mix and match.
As always when pulling a tablescape together, I start with the centerpiece. That way you can build out from there. For this centerpiece, I have two heirloom pumpkins on a bed of eucalyptus leaves sitting on top of a natural wood charger {try saying that 3 times fast LOL}. They are placed on either side of the dry hydrangeas that are tucked into my thrifted brass footed bowl. I'm loving the beautiful texture the dry hydrangeas adds to the table.
And guess what? They were free 99! I've become very friendly with the workers at my local nursery over the years. When asked they were sweet enough to send me home with a bag full of dry hydrangea clippings for free.
To finish off the look, I swiped the Target dollar spot "velvet" pumpkins I had in the living room. And, I also added these metallic votive candle holders from last years Christmas home tour.
You can grab the place cards in my free Thanksgiving printable set.
Once I'm done with the centerpiece, I move on to the place settings. I always like to keep this part simple.
As you can see I don't really follow any rules on where to place the silverware, cups, and napkins. As long as it's near the plates, I consider it good.
To keep the neutral look going I went with everyday white dishes. When decorating with neutrals it's a good rule of thumb to add some texture. The shine of the silverware, the textured linen napkins, the rattan chargers, and even the sparkly pear all work together to create a look that's interesting even without a lot of color or pattern.
For those of you wondering, hey I thought this space was your office? Well, it still is. When I converted our formal dining room into my office for the spring ORC. I designed it in such a way that we could quickly move a few things around to use it as a dining room when needed.
It's our first time using this space as a dining room since the makeover. I'm so glad it worked out in real life, as well as it did in my head LOL.
Although this has been a rollercoaster of a year for our family, we still have sooo much to be thankful for. And I'm glad we can celebrate together!
